Post-Bac Opportunities

There are numerous programs that support beginning and veteran math and science teachers. Please see below for a list of some outstanding opportunities currently available.

Master Teacher Fellowship

Math for America (MƒA) Berkeley is a sister program to CalTeach, and was launched in 2010 to provide the most promising mathematics and science teachers in the Bay Area with professional and leadership development opportunities and a supporting community of engaged professionals.

The MƒA Berkeley Master Teacher Fellowship is a five-year program for secondary school mathematics and science teachers who have at least three years' classroom experience teaching in a high-needs district in the Bay Area. The program includes a $10,000 annual stipend as well as additional funds for conference travel, classroom materials, course fees, and other support for teachers' professional development needs. Knowles Science Teaching Fellowship

The KSTF Teaching Fellowship is a five-year program divided into three phases, with each phase building on the next. During the program, Fellows will receive professional development from experienced educators and financial support for professional development, classroom materials and more.
