The Golden State Teacher Grant Program
As part of our new California Teacher Credentialing grant, CalTeach is encouraging students in Berkeley's teacher credentialing programs to considering applying for this fantastic new grant. Join the 2026-27 GSTG applicant interest list(link is external) to receive updates regarding the GSTG Program for the 2026-27 academic year once information is available. Eligibility and awarding for new 2026-27 applicants will be dependent on the 2026-27 State Budget
Knowles Teaching Fellowship
Award amount: Five years of professional development from experienced educators and financial support for professional development, classroom materials and more...
The KSTF Teaching Fellowship is a five-year program divided into three phases, with each phase building on the next. During the program, Fellows will receive professional development from experienced educators and financial support for professional development, classroom materials and more. Barbara Lotze Scholarship for Future Teachers
Award amount: up to $2,000 per year for four years
The AAPT Executive Board offers this scholarship to undergraduate students planning to become high school physics teachers. For further details please visit the AAPT website(link is external).
AFCEA Educational Foundation Scholarship
Award amount: $5,000 per year
The AFCEA Educational Foundation Scholarship offers scholarships to students pursuing to teach STEM subjects at the secondary or middle school. For further details please visit the AFCEA page.
CTA Aspiring Educators Scholarship in Honor of L. Gordon Bittle
Award amount: up to $5,000.
Each year CTA AE Scholarships recognizes the contributions of our members, chapters and advisors. CTA AE Awards are presented at the CTA AE Representative Assembly (the annual business meeting of the association) each spring.

TEACH Grant
Award amount: up to $4,000
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 a year to students who are completing or plan to complete course work needed to begin a career in teaching.
A TEACH Grant is different from other federal student grants because it requires grant recipients to agree to complete a teaching service obligation as a condition for receiving the grant. If the service obligation is not completed, the TEACH Grant will be converted to a Direct Unsubsidized loan that must be repaid, with interest.
