Bio/CV:
Melinda is currently studying Computer Science and Data Science with a domain emphasis in Economics. Melinda has held positions such as Power Systems Intern at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Cloud Test Intern at Cisco, and has also interned at the California Office of Emergency Services Cyber Integration Center. She is involved in various Data Science organizations on campus and has been a part of Course Staff for introductory Computer Science classes in the past. Her favorite part of being a Peer Advisor is helping her fellow students in CalTeach access information about the program. She hopes to one day teach Computer Science to K-12 students and do her part in promoting equity in CS education.
